Amoreiras Shopping Center was the first commercial center of the country and, in a single space, it has more than 200 national and international brands. Coin
In Portugal, the currency in force is the euro. Payments can be made in cash, by bank transfer and debit or credit cards from all national and international banks.
There are coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, but also 1 and 2 euros. The notes vary in size and color according to their value, and there are 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 euros.
Tourist Office
In Lisbon there are tourist offices throughout the city, these are places of reference for tourists where they can get information and directions on places to visit. The “Ask Me” spaces are present in strategic locations such as Lisbon Airport, Jerónimos Monastery (Belém), Santa Apolónia Station, Foz Palace (Praça dos Restauradores), Parque das Nações, Rossio, Terreiro do Paço and Torre de Belém.
Tax free
If you are a resident of the European Union and you are visiting, be aware that you can be refunded the VAT amount corresponding to your purchases. This process can be carried out at your place of residence, or at the Nova Cambios store, located on Floor 1 upon presentation of all the purchase receipts.
